On the planet Amzot, Zandor was the leader of the Herculoids. Zandor and his friends, Tara, Dorno, Zok, Igoo, Tundro, Gloop, and Gleep battled to defend their primitive planet from menaces in outer space. The Herculoids starred in eighteen original episodes that aired from September 1967 to January 1968. Eleven new episodes were produced in 1981 as part of the Space Stars show.
