The sides of this instrument are constructed out of quality maple, which provides transparent tones. The neck of the mandolin is also crafted from maple. This tonewood variety is widely preferred for its resistance to environmental changes. The solid spruce construction of the top ensures that sound clarity is preserved even when the mandolin is under the influence of a heavy attack. This mandolin can be tuned to G-D-A-E. It is equipped with a pickup system for faithful reproduction of natural mandolin sounds on stage.
